The molecule 3-MMC, also known as 3-methylmethcathinone, belongs to the class of substituted cathinones. Cathinones are a subgroup of amphetamines that have the amphetamine core structure of a phenyl ring attached to an amino group (NH2) via an ethyl chain and an additional methyl substitution at Rα.
